International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, is observed annually on 29 November. This day recognizes the plight of the Palestinian's to have their own homeland side by side to Israel. Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations feels the need to create the homeland from the 1967 borders as set out by resolution 242 and the orignal resolution of 181 in 1947.
