This is a interesting site featuring 1 minute videos on climate change and other environmental issues. I looked at a few and I enjoyed the one you see right away but please do click on the I minute to save the world to go to main site and preview more 1 minute videos. I think all of these videos send a strong message, but I dont think people will act, only because they dont feel the affects right now of what is going on... Actually let me refraise that, they see and feel it happening by our winters becoming, shorter and not as harsh as they used to be, and many albertans -edmontonians see this as a positive thing. I mean I rember talking with some people and saying that it is unreal that it is close to the end of November and I havent had to wear my winter jacket yet. It seems great and awsome that its not cold and we have a longer fall and that our winters are shorter, but in reality all that we are doing is harming our planet. Water levels are rising threatning countries like the netherlands, our ice at our poles is melting killing the polar bears that need it to float on. I mean we all know that it is happening we hear it everyday, whether it be Al Gore or just an Social teacher ranting about change needing to happen. But we as humans are comfertable, we live driving our SUV's with one person in a car and just not caring. I will say it first hand I am no example of a model citizen when it comes to global warming; I drive my car and dont use public transportation when I could. But one thing is forsure something needs to change and I dont care if I am the only one who does change,it may save one polar bear or keep the water level down just enough to save some country from being flooded. I hope that anyone who does use this site takes this article seriously, Dont just look at the videos and see that they are well done but actually take something from them and make a change even if it is small.
