Mouseland - Tommy Douglas

Mouseland is a story told by a man awarded the distinction of being the "greatest Canadian" in a nation wide vote in November of 2004. He is also known for being celebrated as the 'father of medicare' in Canada. Shock Doctrine - Naomi Klein

Ms Klein's view of national 'shock' being the underlying cause of economic/political upheaval is an interesting and somewhat true statement. Her use of electro schock therapy certainly made an impact in showing the unsettling effects of shock. I'd love to hear comments from you on this short 6 minute film. Url is as follows.
