Is the economy rigged against the majority of citizens?

In this article from Common Dreams, polls are finding that most American's feel Wall Street does more harm then good for them. That there financial institutions are letting them down shouldn't be a surprise as suggested by Bernie Sanders. After reading this article, what would be your response as a liberal? Do you agree with the article, why/why not? What lesson/s are there for us in Canada?
