Bill C-51....friend or foe....????
The continual and increasing presence of extremism has led for responses from our government, and from us as citizens. ISIS has used the media to spread fear, propaganda, and their ideas on a global scale. Are some images too graphic or disturbing to be on the news or social media outlets? Who, if anyone, should have the role to censor these images and videos? By allowing these videos to be watched, is it spreading propaganda? What freedoms are we willing to sacrifice as a response to these videos and images?
If you would like to tie in any other discussion on the sacrifice of freedoms at the cost for security you may- i.e Bill C-51.
